Welcome to the Leederville Toy Library
The Leederville Toy Library acknowledges the Whadjuk Nyoongar people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our community comes together to play, share and learn. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and recognise the continuing connection to land, language, and culture that enriches the lives of children and families today.
The Leederville Toy Library is a not-for-profit community organisation offering families access to hundreds of high-quality toys through affordable membership.
Joing a toy library comes with so many benefits! The huge range of toys promotes learning through play, helps to reduce toy clutter at home, enables toy rotation to keep children engaged, is environmentally sustainable, saves money, and allows parents and carers to “try before they buy”.
Our collection includes hundreds of toys for children aged 6 months to 7 years, with categories such as: babies (0 – 2 years old), construction, vehicles, fine motor, animals, Montessori, open-ended play, STEM, popular culture (e.g., Bluey, Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig, Gabby's Dollhouse, Octonauts), music, dolls and dollhouses, playsets (e.g., Playmobil), ride-on (e.g., scooters, bikes), pretend play, costumes, puzzles, games, water tables, and sports – plus more! Browse the catalogue here.
We are proud to offer sensory-friendly options, thanks to a Department of Social Services grant. Look out for our "I'm a sensory toy" stickers, explore our expanded sensory collection, or email us to book an out-of-hours quiet session for a low-stimulation visit.
